St Margaret’s Bay is host to the magnificent Pines Gardens with it’s six acres of organic gardens and shaded woodland. Nestled in the grounds is the multi-award winning Pines Calyx eco-conference and events venue.
Rippledown Environmental Education Centre is located in an old rectory building in three acres of grounds just outside the village of Ringwould. It’s facilities include two large ponds, an allotment, composting area all surrounded by carefully managed woodland.
This uniquely beautiful and tranquil environment is formally protected through the two national designations of ‘Heritage Coastline’ and ‘Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty’. With walks along the white cliffs of Dover and Kent Downs leading too and from St Margaret’s Bay seaside cove. This stunning location provides the backdrop for a wide range of outdoor activities lead by the team at Rippledown and for the conferences and events at the Pines Calyx and Gardens.
